Huda School and Montessori is a non-profit, full-time, private, state approved, independent institution dedicated to excellence in education.
In conjunction with fulfilling the requirements of the state curriculum, the school provides an Islamic educational environment to help students develop a mature Islamic personality by studying the basic principles and teachings of Islam as laid down in the Qur'an and Sunnah.
The philosophy of the preschool program at Huda School is that preschool is the most important stage in which to lay the foundation for the child's formal schooling and social development.
Keeping that in mind, the preschool program follows the Montessori method and standards.
In the Montessori classroom, the emphasis is on the child; today's child is tomorrow's future.
The Montessori system is non-competitive and is structured in such a way that each child has plenty of freedom at his or her own pace in the classroom under the guidance of the Directress.
The Directress acts as a facilitator rather than a traditional classroom teacher.
