St. Mary School
School Notes Overview:
Founded in the mid-1800s, Saint Mary School was the first school founded by the Sisters of Mercy in New Jersey. St. Mary?s has served the Bordentown community through three centuries. In the fall of 2000, the sisters took leave of the school, but the Mercy tradition of a loving and caring environment lives on through the work of its lay staff. The building that now serves St. Mary School was erected in 1888 and entered the new millenium under the spiritual guidance of Reverand Father Michael Burns and the academic guidance of principal, Mrs. MaryEllen Moss....
