St Mary School

30 Elizabeth St, Bordentown, NJ, 08505
Founded in the mid-1800s, Saint Mary School was the first school founded by the Sisters of Mercy in New Jersey. St. Mary?s has served the Bordentown community through three centuries. In the fall of 2000, the sisters took leave of the school, but the Mercy tradition of a loving and caring environment lives on through the work of its lay staff. The building that now serves St. Mary School was erected in 1888 and entered the new millenium under the spiritual guidance of Reverand Father Michael Burns and the academic guidance of principal, Mrs. MaryEllen Moss.

School Reviews:

  • Recommended February 14,2013 - EXCELLENT school. It has a wonderful Principal, caring, loving faculty and staff, and kind, generous students. St. Mary''s has old-school charm with 21st century curriculum and technology and exhibits a friendly family atmosphere. Each grade has a small class size so teachers can give more individualized attention to students. Students really excel here which is corroborated by high Terra Nova test scores and alumni who have really made something of themselves. We have loved the school since the day we attended the Open House and highly recommend St Mary School in the safe, quaint city of Bordentown NJ!!*-Posted by Parent *

If you have children in private school, then you are most likely looking at three months, perhaps even longer, which you must fill with activities of one kind or another during the long summer break.

Is your DEL key about to get gaveled? It doesn't matter whether you teach in a public or private school setting. You expose yourself to legal risks every single day on the job.
