At Young World Day School — a not-for-profit school serving children from Bergen, Passaic, and Rockland counties — we believe an outstanding Pre-K through grade 5 private school should be dedicated to the educational advancement and personal growth of every child.
That's why we've created an educational environment that ties instruction and expectations to each student's abilities, rather than their chronological age.

School Reviews

We live in an excellent public school system, however, my child came from Montessori with such a strong foundation that Young World Day School's academics were the absolute best match for us. They welcomed us & supported us in the decision to advance our child a grade based on ability. We feel it was the best decision we could have ever made & continue to be extremely impressed with the family atmosphere, the flexibility for individual needs & the amazing approach to teaching children YWDS has. Their teachers are tops & have allowed our child to flourish & keep engaged with a love for learning!

My children received an excellent education, as 6th graders they went on to other private schools, and now are attending excellent universities. I attribute their academic success to the strong foundation formed at Young World Day School.
