All Holbrook public schools will be closed on Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day. The schools will also have an early release day on Nov. 25 and be closed on Nov. 26 and 27 for Thanksgiving vacation.

During bad economic times, board games and the family game night start to make a whole lot of sense as a way to entertain everybody on the cheap.
