In August, the Longleaf Academy will open in the Sandhills. Bassett’s boys soccer team got a 2-2 draw against Christiansburg on Wednesday night on the road. Christiansburg’s Carl Leift scored the game’s first goal in the 19th minute before Bassett’s Tyler Martin answered with a header on a cornerkick from Tyler Robertson.
