The Columbus Montessori Education Center (CMEC), established in 1984, is a non-profit community organization whose mission is to be an excellent model of center based quality early learning as well as an advocate for access for all children, beginning at birth, to quality learning experiences; to provide elementary and middle school children an excellent, innovative, comprehensive learning experience, and to offer programs for teachers, parents and others that support these goals.
