Founded in 1988, GAIS remains committed to its mission to provide bilingual and academically challenging education in a supportive environment to children from all around the world. From preschool through 8th grade, we immerse the students in the German language and international culture, as well as embrace the American culture and local school standards. The German-American International School (GAIS) mission is to provide an outstanding international, bilingual education focused on inquiry-based learning with the goal to foster confident, creative and responsible learners and global thinkers. We believe that children can reach their fullest potential if they are able to develop a positive self-image.
