DUE WEST -- Late in the third quarter of Friday night’s 44-7 loss to Christ Church Episcopal School’s football team, Dixie created excitement at Oates Stadium with Ty Hawthorne’s 2-yard touchdown run on a fourth-and-goal play.

Christopher Koeller, son of Arthur and Wilma (Peters) Koeller, of Greer, S.C., and grandson of Frances Peters of Kittanning, and the late Ford Peters, graduated May 17 from Camden Military Academy, in Camden, S.C.

Volunteers helped the Regent Park Homeowners Association neighborhood representatives collect 1,829 pounds of nonperishables Aug. 8 to benefit the Fort Mill Care Center. This food drive almost doubled last year's donations from the Regent Park neighborhood.
