Regardless of size, private or public, schools in East Texas take their sports pretty seriously. Competition, winning, its seems can take priority over almost everything. A couple of weeks ago, a group of girls learned that team, competition, winning and the power of prayer can work together in a very powerful way. Then East Texas Christian's Morgan Ashbreck hit the floor and suffered a concussion. For both teams, winning took a backseat to caring, devotion, sportsmanship and class, writes Kevin Sherrington.
