Families are encouraged to participate actively in their children’s education and in the life of the school. The J Erik Jonsson Community School faculty stays connected with parents through monthly home visits for our youngest students and yearly visits for all grade levels. We also host events throughout the year designed to bring families into the school and classrooms. Families are an essential component of our educational programs. The Jonsson School enriched curriculum springs from the Texas Education Agency standards. Preschool and kindergarten classes have a maximum of 12 students to one teacher. First through fifth grades have a maximum of 1 students to one certified teacher. Out curriculum is planned by teams of teachers to create a rich, meaningful and stimulating environment.
