Live Oak Waldorf School

410 Crother Rd, Meadow Vista, CA, 95722-0957
Live Oak Waldorf School was founded in Meadow Vista in 1977. With small classes, dedicated teachers, and the time-tested wisdom of the Waldorf curriculum, our school inspires a love of learning. Waldorf education is developmental, working with the physical, emotional, and cognitive stages of a child’s development. Our students receive a unique education, one that stimulates intelligence, encourages creativity, and develops practical skills. Waldorf education was started in post-war Germany by Rudolf Steiner at the request of the owners of the Waldorf Astoria Tobacco Company. Today there are more than 700 Waldorf schools world-wide. Live Oak Waldorf is a shining light for families seeking an independent education from early childhood through 8th grade. Live Oak seeks to redefine educational excellence by offering a holistic Waldorf curriculum supported by a healthy community culture on a thriving and sustainable campus.
