Strickland Christian School specializes in quality, affordable Christian education since 1961. It serves grades K4 to 8th. We believe each child is a gift from God, and our curriculum is intended to develop both mind and spirit. Advanced phonics and mathematics are featured. Kindergarteners read books and writein cursive, first graders read from the King James Bible, and second graders do long multiplication and long division. The school offers Bible studies appropriate for each grade level. There is a concentration on Scripture memorization and understanding basic Bible truths. Third through fourth graders are taught Bible using the principle approach to education. Fifth through eighth graders use the Studying God’s Word series from Christian Liberty Press.
