Town East Christian School, located in the beautiful river city of San Antonio, TX, is a private, non-profit Day School that receives no government financial aid of any kind.
It is supported by tuition fees, contributions by concerned Christians, and by Town East Baptist Church.
ABeka Book curriculum is offered for grades K4-12, and A.C.E.
curriculum is offered for grades 7-12.
Both programs operate side by side.
At present grades K4-2 meet at the Hwy 87 Campus, while grades 3-12 meet at the Bible Street Campus.
Future plans are to bring the entire student body together at the Hwy 87 Campus.
The Day School and the Extended Day School operate as integral, inseparable ministries of the Town East Baptist Church.

School Notes:

  • Town East Christian School competes with other Christian Schools and some Public Schools in the San Antonio area. Any student in grades 6-12 is eligible to participate in the sport/s of their choice, provided they maintain passing grades in every subject. All athlete's grades are monitored weekly during the sports season. Boys compete in six man tackle football in the Fall, basketball in the Winter, while track and field, and golf are scheduled for the Spring. Girls compete in volleyball in the Fall and cheerleading in the winter. Our varsity volleyball girls and varsity football boys were both District Champs for 2006! The 2007 varsity football team made it to the Final Four! TECS is a member of TAPPS.
