Mardan is a private, non-profit, state-certified special education day school located in the city of Irvine in Orange County, California. - Many of our students have been diagnosed by their physicians and/or psychiatrists with: Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder (ADHD),Oppositional Defiant Disorder,Obsessive Compulsive Disorder,Asperger’s Syndrome
Tourette Syndrome,Anxiety Disorders,Mood Disorders (e.g., Bipolar, Depression),Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, reactive-Attachment Disorder.
A maximum of ten classes serve students from 1st through 12th grade. Classes are grouped with no more than two grade levels in each class. Each self-contained class is limited to 12 students and is taught by an experienced, credentialed master teacher and a full-time assistant teacher.
Other support services include physical education (P.E.), art, and cooking. The school has a speech and language pathologist, psychologist, and licensed therapists on staff.
