Maryvale Educational Center's mission is to help each child achieve fulfillment, dignity and self-esteem in an enviornment of stability, love and respect. Maryvale provides a safe, healing environment to girls between the ages of 6 to 18 in a 24-hour residential treatment program. Length of stay is determined by each girl’s needs with the goal of preparing the girls for life in a community setting: reunify with their birth family, foster home/legal guardianship, transitional housing or adoption. Each girl’s needs are tailored through an individualized treatment plan. We provide a range of services to assist each girl gain the skills necessary for learning, maintaining health, enhancing self-sufficiency, social integration and independent living. Within the structure of Maryvale this is accomplished though the collaboration of caring, qualified professionals such as psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, special education teachers, group counselors and support staff.
