The Middle School is a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School of Excellence serving Sixth and Seventh Grade students at a low student/teacher ratio.  The Middle School is ranked in the top 10% of schools nationally measured by standardized academic achievement tests.
The Middle School science curriculum allows for exploration in the many branches of science, including but not limited to Earth science, life science, physical science, and environmental science. The students often participate in hands-on activities and inquiry- based learning, allowing them to go beyond the limitations of the textbooks.
The renovated science lab gives students an opportunity to enhance their learning. Reading across the curriculum, walking field trips, and technology are samples of the many other enrichment opportunities provided to Walsingham students.
Lower School
The Extended Care Program provides an opportunity for children to participate in recreational activities (indoor and outdoor), enrichment experiences, arts and crafts, and supervised free time to explore many educational and socially focused activities.
The Walsingham Academy Preschool program is a developmentally appropriate program that provides a model of education that is experienced-based, interdisciplinary, and collaborative. There is an emphasis on educating the whole child - the intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual aspects of each person.
The Walsingham Academy Lower School offers the latest technology with dual-boot (PC and MAC) computers in the lab, over 75 laptops for classroom use, and LCD projectors in 4th - 7th grade classrooms, allowing for multi-sensory learning.
Vibrant and challenging programs in academics, service, the arts and athletics contribute to independent, critical thinkers prepared to be responsible stewards of the world.

The limited size of the lower school will allow your child to build strong relationships with their peers, teachers and administration.
