Columbia, S.C. — Authorities say an 18-year-old Wisconsin recruit died of heat stroke at a South Carolina Army base. The State newspaper of Columbia reported Friday that Pvt. Jonathan Morales of Milwaukee died early Thursday of complications from heat stroke. A standout wrestler and 2009 graduate of Pius XI High School who recently entered the Army died Thursday after a training march in South Carolina, authorities said.
