A community yard sale and family festival are planned for 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Memorial Baptist Church, 645 Forest Ave. Clothing for adults, children and infants, toys, books, games, CDs, DVDs, sporting equipment, shoes, household goods, handmade crafts and more will be offered for sale. While the Taneycomo Bridge project was not selected to receive funds from the federal economic recovery package, it looks like $1 million still could be coming to Taney County.
