Ursuline High School, founded in 1880 in Santa Rosa, California, and based on the teachings of Jesus Christ as manifested in the life of Saint Angela Merici, is a private Catholic secondary school committed to excellence in educating young women. St. Francis Solano School has named lifelong educator Matt Vukicevich as the Catholic school’s principal, beginning the 2090-2010 school year. Vukicevich will replace Dr. Lydia Treadwell Blecksmith, who has resigned as principal after serving 12 years.
