Yula Girls School
School Notes Overview:
YULA Girls' School is committed to creating a challenging academic environment that is nurturing, supportive, encouraging and focused on serving the needs of each individual student to bring out the student's fullest potential. The mission of YULA Girls' School is to provide academic excellence in both Limudei Kodesh and Secular Studies, and to inculcate a love for Torat Yisrael, Am Yisrael and Medinat Yisrael. Educational excellence can only be achieved through teamwork. A highly motivated and caring team of administrators, teachers, parents and students must work together toward the same goal. The school strives to develop Jewish women whose worldly interactions are fully integrated with, and informed by, Torah observant principles. As such, a YULA Girls' School education combines Torah Studies with those of western civilization and the American democratic heritage. The General Studies curriculum is college preparatory and is designed to meet the needs of a broad range of abilities through the use of directed levels of instruction. The Torah Studies curriculum is designed to create a love of Torah and produce a highly educated, critical thinking and motivated Jewish woman. Our ultimate goal is to provide the foundations for our students to become Jewish community leaders and activists who are fully engaged in communal life - individuals who by their conduct and character are Mekadshei Shem Shmayim and who feel a profound sense of responsibility for the Jewish People. ...
