College preparedness begins in Lower School with an Enrichment Program, Handheld Response Systems, Think Tank and full Science Lab. All teachers have iPads and all classrooms are equipped with Apple TVs. Technology instruction begins in PreK along with weekly instruction in Bible, Spanish, Library Science, Music and PE. Our Early Childhood Program serves students 3 months to 3 years.
Our daily Bible classes, weekly Chapel services, grade level retreats and small groups all lay the groundwork for a graduate prepared for the rigors of life. While there are no guarantees, the development and growth of a child's heart and spiritual life is a wise endeavor, the cornerstone of our ministry, and the legacy we are most grateful for.
The CCS Athletics Program was named the #1 2014-2015 FHSAA Academic Team State Champion for Class 2A, honoring our achievement in academics as well as athletics! Two of our coaches were named Coaches of the Year and one of our football players was named a Freshman All American! Go Lancers!!
While many schools claim a college preparatory curriculum, we feel it is important to provide our students with a "life preparatory" environment built on a Biblical worldview. Preparing for college is important; preparing for life is essential. The development of a well-rounded student is our mission and the ministry we commit ourselves to each and every day.
Our college preparatory curriculum follows best practices and implements an Engaged Learning focus.
Our most recent graduating class earned over $3.5 million dollars in scholarships, had 1 National Merit Scholar, 1 National AP Scholar and 30 AP Scholars. Our Athletic Program was named the #1 2014-2015 FHSAA Academic Team State Champion for Class 2A, two of our coaches were named Coaches of the Year and one of our athletes was named a Freshman All American.
We encourage spiritual maturity and development across all areas.
Our Fine Arts department takes yearly mission trips and students regularly serve the community through local partnerships with charities.
The integration of technology is a priority, with Handheld Student Response Systems in the Lower School and a fully functional Bring Your Own Device program in Upper School.
