Whitefield Academy

1 Whitefield Drive SE, Mableton, GA, 30126-0301
Whitefield Academy, a Christ-centered college preparatory school, exists to bolster Christian families in rearing young people who go on to college and life with a passion for learning, for others ahead of self, and for the living and active Jesus. Whitefield is called to serve the family; therefore, our teachers are mentors who are trained to accommodate a wide range of learning needs and strengths for college bound children. Whitefield Academy is called and stands for Covenantal education where the faculty, administrators, board, and parents form a partnership in Christ to educate and discipline children with joy and grace—without legalism, to evangelize students who do not know Christ and to disciple those who do believe into a deeper walk with Him. Our goal is to attain noteworthy excellence that is demonstrated in Whitefield students’ lives, so that Whitefield can serve as a replicable model that could be used, all or in part, by Christians across the United States.

School Reviews:

  • Recommended October 06,2012 - I am a current student at Whitefield Academy and have been attending it for 7 years. Overall my experience has been great! The school has a very uplifting atmosphere and great academics. The classes are very challenging at times but the teachers are willing to help you outside of class in order to insure success. There is a very strong sense of community within the teachers and students which is one of the school''s main focuses this year. Looking back on my years here, I recognize that there have been faults along the way, but I would never consider attending school anywhere else. I feel that by attending Whitefield I have become more confident in myself and in my walk with God. The teachers are very openly Christian and this is an extremely important part of our school for students, teachers, and faculty. As a senior I have started the college search and feel very confident that I will be succesful because of the foundation that Whitefield has instilled in me about working hard and doing your best.*-Posted by Student/Alumni *
  • Recommended October 06,2012 - Whitefield Academy presents me, as a teacher, with the opportunity to work along side top-notch colleagues as we strive to work together to construct opportunities for students to recieve a first rate education.*-Posted by Teacher *
  • Recommended February 28,2012 - I am currently a student at Whitefield and have had a wonderful experience here. Sure it may have it's issues, but not unlike any other school out there. The school work is challenging and requires work, but there are so many ways to receive extra help from either older students or teachers. Every morning before homeroom, teachers hold extra help" sessions to provide aid in the completion of homework and answer any questions one might have. The teachers are extremely personable and if approached the right way, are more than happy to help with any in school or out of school issues. The students are loving, but like teenagers everywhere, if they see someone that does not smile and does not appear approachable, will be cautious in reaching out. There are, however, students here that do reach out to students that appear unhappy, if that student is open to being approached. Whitefield teaches it's students to love and to put others ahead of self. There are several opportunities to do so. For instance, one day this past month, the entire high school went out and served the community in various ways like delivering canned food to those less fortunate.*-Posted by Student/Alumni *

If you have children in private school, then you are most likely looking at three months, perhaps even longer, which you must fill with activities of one kind or another during the long summer break.
