Riverstone International School is a premier, private International Baccalaureate World School in Boise, Idaho, offering day and boarding students challenging opportunities and the personal support to develop into independent, creative and collaborative thinkers.
With 400 students enrolled from preschool through high school, 45 countries are represented in the school community. A maximum of 30 students from the U.S. and around the world in grades 9-12 are enrolled in Riverstone`s boutique boarding program.

The school`s 14-acre campus
is nestled between the Boise River and the Greenbelt in southeast
Boise.
The
recently-built dormitoryfor the boarding program is
located in downtown Boise,
the third most populous city in the Pacific Northwest, with easy
access to skiing, kayaking, and mountain biking. Boise's
four-season climate and safe city provide opportunities for
students to recreate, shop, and experience the local culture.
Families are encouraged to explore the application process for
tuition assistance and scholarships that do not need to be repaid.
Nearly 25% of Riverstone students receive either
tuition assistance or
scholarships.
Riverstone offers
Malone Scholarships for motivated students with financial need
entering grades 7-9.

The personal attention my child receives in the classroom is top-notch. There is a well-rounded curriculum that develops the whole child. Without a doubt, my child is getting a great education, emotional development, and learning how to be a great human being in the world. I really appreciate the focus on self-esteem and problem solving.

Riverstone is an exceptional school - in my opinion, the best in Boise. As a university professor, I appreciate the high level of academic excellence with a focus on critical thinking, interdisciplinary projects, and small classes that foster individual learning styles. The skills my son is learning there are giving him an ideal preparation for college and for life.

Riverstone was a great environment for our son who really thrived in the small classroom setting, with a rigorous academic curriculum and with teachers who were truly mentors throughout his 8 years there.
Riverstone is the best educational opportunity presented to students in Idaho and beyond. I have taught in public and private schools and so, as a former teacher and as a parent, I can say that Riverstone has its vision, mission and act together.
