Overview
Vandebilt Catholic High School, founded by the Marianite Sisters of Holy Cross in 1870 and continued by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, is a diocesan co-educational institution for grades 8-12 in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux.
We are committed to spiritual formation and academic excellence in an environment rooted in Catholic values and in the teachings of Jesus Christ.
We primarily serve Catholic students of Terrebonne Parish in a caring and orderly atmosphere.
We offer a college preparatory curriculum and stress a personal approach to the education of the whole student through diverse academic, athletic, and cocurricular programs.
Houma Christian school was founded in 1985 to provide a Christ-centered education that trains students to be rooted and grounded in Him; we focus not only on academics, but also on renewing minds, instilling values, and developing servant's hearts.
This is accomplished by providing an academically excellent Christian education, by fostering faith in God and His Word, by establishing absolute values based on Christian principles, and by preparing Christian young people for effective service to God and to the community.
