Overview
Woodlake Montessori Preschool & Infant Care is a premier child care center enriching the lives of young children.
Our center is open year round and offers programs for toddlers, preschoolers, and children transitioning into Kindergarten.
Here at Woodlake Montessori Preschool & Infant Care, we provide children a great learning experience in a fun, safe, and friendly environment.
âOur unique program combines both the traditional Montessori method and preschool academia which are combined in order to provide a well balanced early childhood education. Our school focuses on every aspect of a childâs growth.
We tailor our attention to each childâs cognitive, emotional, social and physical state.
Our goal is to develop thoughful and considerate people as well as intelligent ones. Each age group has a curriculum designed specifically for that stage of development. All classes include daily arts & crafts, science, music, body movement, story time, cooking and age-appropriate academics. Our monthly themes include units on holidays, health, culture, artists and authors, in addition to ethics such as honesty, respect, courage and responsibility.
Our small class sizes allow for individual learning differences and the acqusition of independent academic skills needed to succeed in the larger post preschool classrooms. We have four separate park-like playgrounds, each designed specifically for a certain age group. Our goal is the developent of the child's self-confidence, self-image and independence in communication and learning. Our hope is to create a love of learning that will follow the children the rest of their lives.
