Notes for Prospective Students

Our Twice Exceptional students are highly capable learners when provided with appropriate learning supports. If your child is diagnosed with ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, and other learning challenges including executive functioning, sensory processing and social emotional needs, or contend with anxiety, depression or school refusal due to previous, negative, school experiences, please contact us. We offer full-time 10-and12 month enrollment; ala carte enrollment for individual courses; in school, on-site instruction, hybrid instruction, and fully virtual learning. All of these options include our integrated clinical supports; 1:1 speech, counseling and OT; parent workshops and counseling, and our individualized learning model--most classes are taught in a 1:1 setting to identify and support your child's unique needs. Visit our website and register to attend an Open House. Meet our faculty and families. See samples of student work. Hear what our students have to say about their school. You will be invited for a private tour, and a time for your child to shadow a student for a portion of a day. We will review relevant neuropsychological evaluations, school reports, your advocacy and samples of your child's work. Once you choose to enroll at The Whole Child Academy and we complete the review process, you will receive an acceptance letter and application to the school. Complete the application and submit with the $250 enrollment fee. We will refer you to our admissionsl advisor who will fully explain the procedure to access tuition support. This process can take from 3-6 months or longer so it is crucial to be informed about IDEA and your special education rights. An enrollment packet will be mailed to you upon acceptance of the application and meeting with the admissions advisor.
