Notes for Prospective Students
Discover Whether WHPS Is the Right Fit for Your Child Choosing a
school is an important decision, and we believe the admissions
experience should be as thoughtful and personal as the education
itself. Our process gives families the opportunity to explore what
makes Woodland Hills Private School distinctive while helping us
get to know each child, understand their strengths and needs, and
determine how we can best support their growth. 1. START
WITH A VISIT. The best way to understand WHPS is to
experience it. Tour our campus, observe classrooms in action, meet
our educators, and discover how individualized learning, academic
challenge, and extraordinary enrichment come together. We welcome
your questions and look forward to learning what matters most to
your family. 2. EXPLORE OUR COMMUNITY. We
encourage prospective families to get a feel for life beyond the
classroom. Join us for community events such as Movie Night, our
Spring Fair, and parent workshops. Learn about our parent affinity
groups and the many ways families build friendships, connect, and
participate in school life. 3. SUBMIT AN
APPLICATION. When you're ready to take the next step,
complete an application for your child. Our admissions team is
happy to answer questions and guide you through the process.
4. FAMILY INTERVIEW AND STUDENT ASSESSMENT. We
take time to get to know your child as both a learner and an
individual. Through age appropriate activities, observations, and
conversations, we learn more about their development, interests,
strengths, and readiness. Just as importantly, we want to hear your
hopes and goals for your child's education. 5. THOUGHTFUL
ADMISSIONS REVIEW. Our Admissions Committee considers each
application carefully, looking at academic and developmental
readiness, the child's individual needs, and how well our program
can support their continued growth. Our goal is to build a strong
partnership where children and families can thrive. Your WHPS
Journey Starts with a Visit Whether you're exploring preschool for
your toddler or seeking a more challenging and individualized
elementary education, we'd love to show you what makes WHPS
special. Schedule a Tour and Discover
