The Amherst Montessori School, is a non-profit school serving families throughout the Pioneer Valley. AMS’ children range in age from 18 months to 10 years of age. Following the Montessori curriculum, our children study in multi-age groups at three levels: Toddler, Children's House and Lower Elementary. By providing an environment rich in learning materials and opportunities, the Montessori teacher enables the child to apply his/her curiosity in the most enriching way possible. Montessori teacher follows the child in his/her learning, actively.
