I've been going to The Park School for 7 years and I haven't always enjoyed my time here. There are kids in my grade who are so focused on political correctness that they don't have the capacity to understand different points of view. Many teachers (with some exceptions of course) expect much more respect than they are willing to give. When a student is having a problem that can't be resolved quietly, they just let the matter sit and simply say, "There's nothing we can do about that." There are a few kids in the school who are 'untouchable' they have behavioral problems that the school doesn't know how to handle so they let the kid(s) have free rein and only discipline when it's so offensive that they can't turn the other cheek. My experience up until I went into fourth grade was what I would call a bliss. I wasn't aware of how out of whack my school was and how unfair the disciplinary system was until that year. Although I have been dragging this school through the mud, I have had many good experiences there and it has given me a safe space where I feel I can be myself (besides for that fact that I'm not a diehard Liberal.)
