Christian Family Learning Center was founded in 1991 as an elementary and junior high school, owned and operated by the parents of the students. All CFLC parents are encouraged to attend this important 9 week Bible study entitled "Effective Parenting in a Defective World." This life changing study is once again being offered. At Good Samaritan's Church in Valley Springs. Please R.S.V.P. to Samantha Reed who will lead the study. Samantha will need to order material for the study in advance of the start date. "Effective Parenting in a Defective World" will also be offered in Angels Camp, date to follow The school offers classes in kindergarten through eighth grades. The school's campus is located adjacent to Foothill Community Church in Angels Camp on Whittle Road. The school is governed by a parent board elected by the association of all school families. Christian Family Learning Center operates because of direct parental involvement. All families are encouraged and expected to participate in the school through a number of ways. The parents, teacher and the Board of Directors believe that the Bible gives parents the responsibility and privilege of providing Godly, family centered instruction for their children. The CFLC core curriculum is enhanced by enrichment activities in the areas of music, dance, outdoor education, recreation and scientific exploration. These opportunities are the unique collaboration of faculty, parents, sponsors and community members.
