School Notes:
Saint Peter's Prep is a Catholic, independent college preparatory school for young men, sponsored by the Society of Jesus. Established in 1872 and located in the shadow of the Statue of Liberty, Saint Peter's historically has responded to the educational needs of its local families in Hudson County, as well as those from throughout northern and central New Jersey and New York City. The school today is a diverse community. Its faculty consists of Jesuits, lay men and women, and other religious. The students, residents of both urban and suburban areas, represent a variety of ethnic, economic, geographic, social and religious backgrounds. Saint Peter's celebrates this diversity and considers Jesus' call to serve those in need an important component of the mission of the school.
