School Reviews:

  • Recommended August 20,2012 - Strengths - academics, religious teachings, self confidence. Highly recommended. The experience at SVA will prepare you emotionally, mentally and, spiritually for your entire life after SVA.*-Posted by Student/Alumni *
  • Recommended May 21,2012 - I LOVE ST. VINCENT ACADEMY (NWK). I KNEW MY DAUGHTER WAS GOING TO BE A STUDENT HERE WHEN SHE WAS STILL IN GRAMMAR SCHOOL (SACRED HEART OF VAILSBURG). THE STAFF IN TOTALITY ARE COMMITTED TO THE GIRLS. WE HAVE RUN INTO SO MANY WOMEN WHO ATTENDED SVA. THEY STILL SPEAK VERY HIGHLY OF SVA. MY DAUGHTER INITIALLY WANTED NO PARTS OF SVA; BUT MOMMY KNOWS BEST. SHE NOW APPRECIATES SVA, HER EXPERIENCES HERE, THE CURRICULUM, THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX, COMMUNITY SERVICE, HER FRIENDS AND OF COURSE THOSE VERY SPECIAL TEACHERS WHO FOLLOWED HER FROM FRESHMAN YEAR TO PRESENT. MY DAUGHTER HAS GROWN INTO A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN. I AM NOT THE KIND OF PARENT WHO SITS BACK AND EXPECTS SOMEONE ELSE TO DO FOR MY CHILD. SHE IS WELL ROUNDED FROM HOME, SCHOOL, CHURCH AND THE COMMUNITY. IT TRULY TAKES A VILLAGE. I AM A FIRM BELIEVER. I SING THE PRAISES OF SVA ALL THE TIME. MY HEART IS FULL. I LOVE SVA.*-Posted by Parent *

Make Summer a Special Time! Make Summer a Special Time!
If you have children in private school, then you are most likely looking at three months, perhaps even longer, which you must fill with activities of one kind or another during the long summer break.

Are You Liable? Are You Liable?
Is your DEL key about to get gaveled? It doesn't matter whether you teach in a public or private school setting. You expose yourself to legal risks every single day on the job.
