Concord Christian School

2120 Olivera Ct, Concord, CA, 94520-0945
Concord Christian Schools began with the preschool in 1967. The elementary school was started in 1972, and now includes students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Our curriculum focuses on the basics of math, reading and writing. Comprehension of material is taught while developing the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Academic achievement without character development is a contradiction. Successful learning cannot be achieved without recognizing the need to respect one another. Rejecting society's emphasis on self and selfishness, we strive to help each student learn to respect those in authority, their parents, each other and themselves. Christ is the foundation on which all knowledge is taught and from which wisdom is that knowledge is gained. Our goal is to elevate God to His rightful place as Lord of lords in each child's life. We strive to provide a complete educational experience that includes the mind and the body. Developing the growing mind is incomplete without also developing the growing body. We provide children with physical education programs that are safe and fun, while providing a healthy foundation that will serve them throughout life.
