I am pleased to write this recommendation on behalf of my son who attends Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn. Selecting a high school for my son under our circumstances was challenging and stressful however I am confident almost one year in that I made the best choice. Adelphi staff send out weekly classes and personalized recaps. All types send weekly emails for the week's work ahead so students and parents are well informed. My emails are always responded to quickly and thoroughly and the teachers make every effort to adapt to each child's learning style. In the short time he has been at the school he has been on a school outing, in a holiday performance, in a live history walk-through, rehearsing for a live musical revue, had multiple field days, has weekly assembly and monthly awards. The students in the school have been very welcoming and supportive. I feel that Adelphi has offered my son a safe space to learn and interact in a way that is developing his ability to engage in age-appropriate conversations and behaviors. I am so pleased my son has the opportunity to learn in such a dynamic environment.

Adelphi Academy has greatly helped my child be a better student. The educators are attentive and focused on the growth of each student; academically, socially, and emotionally. I especially appreciate how the teachers keep the parents involved by informing parents of the weekly lessons and regularly providing feedback on the student`s progress. My child looks forward to going to school every day and I am very pleased with the progress being made.

Finding the right school to support my child(ren) in learning is always important and never-ending. Adelphi Academy is the perfect fit for my child who is currently attending. In this short period, my child has gained the confidence to participate in class and school activities. Not only has Adelphi Academy helped my child to become more active in subjects that my child finds interesting, but my child now is actively learning subjects that were not of interest. I find it impressive that my child is now open to understanding differing opinions and is capable of self-correcting when necessary. This is important outside of school as it is in school. It is evident from my child`s experience that Adelphi Academy is a nurturing school environment that teaches the fundamentals of learning and the importance of being knowledgeable, fair, and good. I am glad that I decided to enroll my child at Adelphi Academy and highly recommend the school.

My neighbors send their four children to Adelphi Academy and I have heard nothing but good things from them. Exciting events are always held at the school plays, art exhibits, academic ceremonies, etc. and the families are always included. My own children are grown now, but if they were still of age, I would definitely send them to Adelphi.

Adelphi's Theater Arts Program is incredible! The students work very hard when it comes to the productions and events that we have at Adelphi. We are currently working on our holiday brunch performance, which features an original Happy Holiday Musical Revue! I am so proud of the students and staff who work together to make our performances look and feel like professional theatrical productions!
