Our Catholic heritage is unfolded by and in a Faith community alive in prayer, celebration, and service, and grounded in a strong commitment to the content of scripture, catechism and tradition. Through the guidance and caring activities of our faculty, we endeavor to foster in our students the knowledge, action and attitude of a Christ-centered rationale to manage life's situations and decisions both now and in adult life. We believe that the intellect of the student is best served by coordinating the child's developing stages with appropriate academic experiences.     Struggling parochial schools have been told they will have to tighten their belts even further next year if the city gives the green light on eliminating funding for school nurses at private elementary schools with fewer than 300 students.

    More than 30 teachers, including three from a Whitestone elementary school who saved their colleague’s life after he collapsed last month, were recognized by state Sen. Frank Padavan (R−Bellerose) last week during a ceremony at the Queens Farm Museum.
