Based upon the criteria established by the No Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon Schools Program for private schools for the 2008-2009 school year, Saint Louis School is in the top 10 percent of all schools nationally for academics. Where can you find a school with superior academics, SmartBoards in every classroom, individualized math and reading programs, a computer lab with 35 computers, innovative teachers, a faith-based curriculum, and a family atmosphere? Right in Clermont County at Saint Louis school! Students are engaged in learning through such inventive techniques as the "Hands-on Equations" method of teaching Algebra to sixth, seventh and eighth graders, as well as the "Success Maker Math" program that is utilized at all grade levels as a supplement to the math series. Excellent student achievement reflects the effectiveness of our school-wide, outstanding teaching methods. U.S. Army Spc. Joseph Bauer, 27, killed July 25 while serving in Afghanistan, will arrive Friday, Aug. 6. His plane is expected about 9:20 a.m. at the Butler County Airport.

St. Louis LEGO teams competed in the League Regional Tournament, and the Crusaders qualify for next level competition, state held in Feb., 2010.
State-bound again for St. Louis LEGO Legend Crusaders (www.cincinnati.com)

The LEGO Legend Crusaders, a 5th-7th grade team from St. Louis School in Owensville, participated in the iSpace Regional FIRST LEGO League Robotics tournament on Dec. 12 & 13. The tournament was held at Cincinnati State College of UC and featured 39 local teams. Overall, they were picked as one of the 7 teams that advance to state competition. The state tournament is Feb. 6 & 7, 2010 at the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. There will be 46 teams participating from across the state.
