Holy Cross School
School Notes Overview:
Holy Cross School endeavors to motivate, guide and instruct children in beliefs, practices and values of the Catholic Christian community, integrated with high standards of academic excellence. Holy Cross provides a Catholic Christian education. We emphasize the harmonious development of the child and all of his/her talents and abilities. Recognizing parents as the primary educators, the teachers, as facilitators of learning, seek to provide experiences that will develop the values, attitudes, and habits necessary for each child to eventually become an intelligent, cultured articulate, and socially aware Catholic citizen, who will contribute to the faith community and the world society....

School Notes:
- Holy Cross School gratefully acknowledges the receipt of a $10,000 grant from the Monterey Peninsula Foundation Youth Fund to support the purchase of an Apple Mobile Learning Lab. The mobile lab will enable Middle School teachers to cross train students on both PCs in the school's Technology Lab and on Macs in the classroom. It will also facilitate the instruction of Web based teaching and learning, fulfilling the school's strategic plan goal of 21st Century Computer Literacy for Holy Cross students.
