The John Paul II Catholic School varsity girls’ basketball team -- the Lady Saints -- recently defeated St. Laurence Catholic School on to become the 2009 Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association (GHCAA) City Champions. In the first playoff game, John Paul II beat Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School to advance to the semi-finals, where they defeated St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School. ...
