Welcomto Grace Lutheran School!!.We are a K4 – 8thgrade Private Christian school, fully accredited by the National Council of Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). Established in 1973, Grace has been providing a Christian College Preparatory education to its scholars for 40 years.  Throughout the day, the word of God is applied and is the basis and guide for all learning and living.  Jesus taught us to “seek first the kingdom of God” (Matt. 6:33) and our program of Christian education is centered on this principle. Your child will benefit from our education through daily exposure to the love of their Savior.  That love will motivate them to make the most of their talents while demonstrating love and kindness to others.

School Notes:

Grace Lutheran School exists to nurture its children and reach out to our community with a Bible-based Christian education. We provide each child with a superior education while developing the best skills for each individual to live a productive life. We believe that Christian education promotes the welfare of the entire person. Grace Lutheran School is fully accredited by the National Council of Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). We offer strong academic programs through methods and materials in a safe, caring, and educational environment.  Our low student to teacher ratio allows us to serve our scholars’ unique learning styles and academic needs.  Our school day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. with after care, tutoring, and Power Hour (Grace’s homework club) continuing on well past the 3:30 bell.  Our school day includes:
    •  Deep study and growth in God’s word
    •  Rigorous, challenging, and adaptive lessons in Math, Reading, Phonics, Spelling, Social Studies, Science, and Computer Literacy
    • Attention to fine arts through Physical Education, and our exploratory programs which include Spanish, German, French, Home Economics/Life Skills, Tone Chimes, and Reader’s Theater.
    • In addition to educating for useful skills, cultivating cultural interests and social graces, promoting physical health, and developing the special gifts and talents of the individual child, GLS endeavors to train our scholars to think for themselves, discover on their own, and learn proper study habits Through education in secular subjects, it prepares the student for daily living in the world; through formal religious training and the influence of Christian teachers, it provides for a proper relationship with God and one's fellow human beings. The particular strength of the school as an agency of Christian education is that it provides for the daily strengthening of the Christian values already started in the home. It allows for the training of the student for a life of ministry in the church and the world. Grace Lutheran School operates cooperatively with education in public schools. GLS provides positive Christian instruction and training, which the public schools are not expected to do and cannot provide. GLS works to coordinate its curriculum with the public schools at each grade level to allow for easy transfer.

Make Summer a Special Time! Make Summer a Special Time!
If you have children in private school, then you are most likely looking at three months, perhaps even longer, which you must fill with activities of one kind or another during the long summer break.

Are You Liable? Are You Liable?
Is your DEL key about to get gaveled? It doesn't matter whether you teach in a public or private school setting. You expose yourself to legal risks every single day on the job.
