The Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle

15749 NE 4th Street, Bellevue, WA, 98008-0980
The Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle is an independent school providing an exceptional education for children in Preschool through 8th Grade. At our core, is the seamless integration of a rigorous general studies and award-winning Jewish studies program with an emphasis on independent and critical thinking. JDS students explore and analyze complex issues and approach problem solving with both knowledge and creativity. They initiate new ideas, facilitate class discussions, collaborate effectively and articulate various perspectives - tools they will need to succeed in tomorrow's world. Guided by caring and dedicated teachers, our students learn to be active participants in the world. Our Jewish values, history and traditions serve as the foundation for an innovative character education curriculum that challenges students to be empathetic, compassionate and responsible world citizens. Puget Sound field study experiences inspire life-long environmental and community stewardship and our JDS athletics program promotes teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship and school spirit. "Where study leads to action," which comes from the Talmud, is as relevant today as in any time in our history. JDS students learn that with strong academics comes the privilege and responsibility to take action to create a better world.

Make Summer a Special Time! Make Summer a Special Time!
If you have children in private school, then you are most likely looking at three months, perhaps even longer, which you must fill with activities of one kind or another during the long summer break.
