The Village School Of Naples

We have been a Village School family for eight years now. There is a lot to be said, as we've experienced so much in our eight years there, but I don't even know where to begin. As a former educator, I am very in-tune to my children's education and probably over-scrutinize everything. My NUMBER ONE priority is my children's nervous system - do they feel safe, comfortable, a sense of belonging, and confident? Because we know that children learn best when those needs are met first. I can wholeheartedly say that every staff member goes above and beyond to make sure every child is cared for as a human being because they prioritize children's emotional health. I've seen this exemplified when my kindergartener had trouble separating from me, when my third grader dealt with COVID, and when my eighth grader dealt with friendship issues...the list goes on. TVS educates the whole child and I am confident that my children will graduate with not only the academics they need to succeed in college, but the toolbox to succeed in life. Speaking of academics, I have been pleased with the level of challenge my children have been given. My oldest is in 8th grade and taking high school algebra, his writing has exceeded my expectations (thanks to a spectacular 7th and 8th grade language arts teacher), the social studies team is out of this world (I'm so upset that I didn't have them as teachers), and the science teachers have pushed him. When I checked-in with him on his thoughts about high school he said, "Village School is like home." What a statement! Parent involvement is welcomed and encouraged - I've volunteered as much as I can in the past eight years. I'm sure I could go on and on, but my overall review is that TVS is committed to their motto of "Known, Nurtured, Loved" and it shows every day.

Amazing school with awesome teachers. Lots of support for kids with language processing issues, dyslexia and ADHD. Small class sizes and reasonable tuition. Looked at other schools and they are not worth double the price for less: you can't beat the caring environment and STEAM education. It truly does take a Village!

The Village School is a great school. The faculty really cares about our children. They provide a safe and fun environment for our children to learn and grow. I moved my daughters to public school 2 years ago and they begged to go back to The Village School before the first half of the year was over. I am so glad we did. They both love the small classroom sizes which provides them more one on one time with their teachers and feel less like just a number. I know my Girls will continue to reach their goals and find success under the guidance and opportunities they receive at The Village School.
