Members of the Class of 2015 were offered $6,397,369 in merit scholarships. 100% were accepted at four-year colleges and universities. 40% were offered acceptance to the University of California (the state average is 10-11%).
The Marie Rose Durocher Science facility features modern biology, physics and chemistry labs, aquariums, and a sustainable garden, while MakerSpace and Robotics labs offer opportunities for innovation and application of science skills.
Leadership is developed across all aspects of the school program. ASB Officers, Class Officers, and the President's Council animate school-wide activities with the support of the SpiritFest Committee and all students who also live the SNJM core values.
Ramona Convent prides itself on a strong, comprehensive, and competitive athletic program. Students compete on 14 teams in eight sports in the Horizon League of the CIF: Basketball, Cross Country, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Track, and Volleyball.
Guided by the core values of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary (SNJM), the co-curricular life of the school offers students numerous opportunities for growth that empower them to become leaders who make a difference for good in their community and world.
Ramona Rampage Team 1159 is an all-girls Robotics team composed of about 30 members. For eleven years, we have striven to change a male-oriented status quo and increase female interest in the various scientific fields; moreover, our girls have varying interests but manage to contribute to different aspects of the team's goals each season.
Committed to helping students reach their full potential, Ramona is set apart by our rich curriculum, expansive selection of college preparatory and AP/Honors courses, comprehensive co-curricular programs, and welcoming community. At Ramona, students will travel through four years with the support of spirited friends and expert, caring, and engaged teachers while surrounded by the inspiring beauty of a college-like campus.
Ramona's Mission, as a welcoming and inclusive Catholic school sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, is to provide an educational program that graduates young women who are characterized by academic excellence, spiritual depth, moral strength, and personal grace, open to the wisdom of other cultures and traditions, and prepared to lead and serve in an evolving interdependent global community.
