Friends' Central School
School Notes Overview:
Friends' Central School is committed to making state-of-the-art technology available to the entire School community administration, faculty, and students. Each division is equipped with its own computer lab and additional resources can be found in the libraries and in the individual classrooms. Friends' Central's challenging curriculum is designed to provide core information, to encourage students to think and process what they learn, and to allow students to investigate areas of personal interest. As they study, students explore the impact of one area of learning on another. For example, students come to understand that the history of a period has an impact on the scientific advances, the artistic styles and movements, as well as the spheres of intellectual thought. This integrated approach helps students find a context for their learning and facilitates the retention of the information they are acquiring....
