St. Mary School

St. Mary Elementary School (K- 8), a primary ministry of St.
Mary's Church, serves to educate the children of St. Mary's Parish and children of the surrounding communities.
Together, our parish and school believe in Jesus as our founder and that faith in Him guides our lives and moves us to action.
We complement the role of the family as we work together to provide students with a quality Catholic education that promotes strong Gospel values, academic excellence, social responsibility, as well as an appreciation and respect for the dignity of life.

School Reviews

This private, Catholic school in quaint East Sacramento is such a source of pride and joy for our family. I am reviewing now when I should have long ago, but what prompted me is the amazing Distance Learning program that was put into place last month at a moment's notice. This was possible only because the school invests in teachers and technology. As hard as it may be to see the withdrawal from my bank account each month, I am constantly reminded that this school gives you what you pay for. My children will finish out their school year on time and at grade level, ready to progress to their next grade in August. Even in the midst of these crazy circumstances, they are fed quality work from their hard-working and dedicated teachers each and every day. Even when on campus, this school offers so much to enrich the students' education - from weekly Mass and integrated religion into their lessons, to a beautiful art studio, full music program, amazing library, top-notch science lab, community-renowned counseling program, a Learning Center to offer support, an active P.E. program the list goes on. Every facet of my children's education is enhanced by St. Mary School. And they are ready to tackle the challenges of a Catholic high school education from the study and organizational skills they are taught. Not to mention the sports and extracurricular activities are a blast, as are the community events. There's something about St. Mary School that draws you in. I am so happy I've chosen this school for all my children.
