Arcadia Montessori School

5115 E Virginia Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85008-0863
Arcadia Montessori was founded in 1972 by Judy Pemberton. Arcadia Montessori hires college educated teachers that have obtained their A.M.I. specialized certification. Our average staff member has been employed by the school for nine years. Arcadia Montessori uses the method as taught by Dr. Maria Montessori, using her hand-made, hands-on, high quality materials from Holland. We incorporate into our program art, music, creative dramatics, animal care, gardening and cooking. Arcadia Montessori accepts children at 18 months (not potty trained) through kindergarten age 6. Each class is limited in size to maintain a1 to 7 ratio in toddlers and a 1 to 11 ratio in pre-primary. It is our mission to create a safe, happy school for children to grow and learn as well as develop manners, respect and a life long love of learning.
