Our Middle School students travel to Space Camp in Huntsville, AL for one of their years of study and then to Sea Camp in Key West, FL for the other.
In Montessori education, there are specific educational materials used. These students are using the Moveable Alphabet to sound out and write words on their own. ("I like everyone in my school because they are my friends".)
At MSP students from 18 months through 8th grade take Spanish classes. This is a shot of some of the youngest members of the MSP family in a Spanish lesson.
New addition, added 2011 school year. This campus is Montessori Drive West and houses our 9-12 year old class (4th-6th grades) and our Middle School (7th-8th grades), as well as a science lab, art room, and computer lab. It is also our campus with tennis courts.
In addition to in school tennis and PE, we have afterschool tennis clubs, classes and clinics. In 2011, MSP acquired part of the former Pensacola Racquet Club. In the Spring of 2015, MSP received USTA grant money and was able to create special courts made for younger children, elderly, and disabled players.
