Walden is a K 12 independent school, committed to small class size, highly qualified teachers and an individualized approach to learning. Our structured and nurturing academic climate motivates students to active participation and maximum achievement. The support and participation of parents is critical to the success and well-being of their student. Walden has an extraordinarily active Parents Association, a governing Board of Trustees in which parents of Walden students are well represented, and a wide range of family activities such as Grandparents Day, Donuts with Dad, Muffins with Mom, the Auction, an annual Thanksgiving lunch, and an open visitation policy.
