Pumpkin Patch Design Challenge: Throughout the year, children (ages 3-6) and their parents are invited to have fun and learn in our Little Makers Design Challenges. Each Design Challenge has a different theme, but provides children (and their parents) with the opportunity to discover the fun in dreaming, creating, and building alongside our tenured and talented Kindergarten faculty. (And while your child is learning with us, we invite parents to learn about us!). Activities take place in our Kindergarten Building.

Exploration 24-7: Come "explore" all that a Peck education has to offer! In the season of giving, give your children the gift of design. Students ages 8-11 are invited to a special snow-themed opportunity to craft a special holiday present with the support of our renowned faculty.Woodworking with Mr. Mark Mortensen Sand, paint, assemble, and decorate a wooden keepsake in Peck`s one-of a kind Woodshop. Tools, parts, and instruction will be provided; participants will come away with a handmade gift to keep for themselves or give away to a loved one.Fine Arts with Ms. Karen Dispenziere - with The Peck School's expansive art studio at your fingertips, and with the guidance of our wonderfully talented "Mrs. D.", students will create a one of a kind fine arts gift for a special person.

Little Makers: Snowmen at Night Design Challenge - Accompany your child for an exciting morning in our newly renovated Kindergarten Building. At this event, children will participate in a task, playing while learning that there is more than one correct answer to a problem. Designed for children ages 3-6, this event stimulates young imaginations in a fun and educational way, while providing an opportunity to meet our Kindergarten teachers and experience how much fun learning at Peck can be! Based on the bestselling book, Snowmen at Night, your little builder will create a snow fort to accommodate the story`s wonderful secret that when children are sleeping in the winter, snowmen come to life and play. All materials will be supplied for children to construct their individual snow fort. We ask that interested attendees please register on Peck's website.

Little Makers: Bees Like Flowers Design Challenge - Accompany your child for an exciting morning in our newly renovated Kindergarten Building. At this event, children will participate in a task, playing while learning that there is more than one correct answer to a problem. Designed for children ages 3-6, this event stimulates young imaginations in a fun and educational way, while providing an opportunity to meet our Kindergarten teachers and experience how much fun learning at Peck can be! We invite you and your child to spend a festive morning with us, designing, building, and testing a miniature catapult that will help a hungry bee reach a spring flower. This design challenge is based on the book "Bees Like Flowers" and explains the process of pollination and where bees live. All materials will be supplied to create your catapult.
