Notes for Prospective Students

Freshmen applicants: Applications for admission are generally submitted in the fall of the 8th grade year (if applying for 9th) or fall of the 7th grade year (if applying for 8th) for the following September. Admission to Bishop Hendricken is based on a student's academic record from middle school, entrance exam scores, teacher recommendations, and a record of good citizenship. Students may apply at www.hendricken.com/how-to-apply/. Transfer applicants: A small number of transfer students to the 10th and 11th grade are admitted each year. Transfer students should submit their application, two teacher recommendations, test scores, and an essay describing the reason for transfer. 10th grade applicants are also required to take the entrance exam. Transfer students may apply to be admitted at the beginning of each quarter, per the Admissions Office and administration.
