Notes for Prospective Students

If you're ready to become part of the Far Hills community, start the Application Process. We are excited that you are interested in becoming a part of our community. Far Hills values diversity and admits students of any race, color, or ethnic origin. All students applying for admission to the school must complete the application process in order to be considered. Step 1 Application Form: Complete the online application. Step 2 School Records and Teacher Recommendations: Request school records and current teacher recommendations through your online enrollment application dashboard. Step 3 Classroom Visit and Learning Assessment: Preschool and Kindergarten applicants participate in a classroom visit where they will interact with our teachers and the other students. During this time, teachers assess the applicants within the social context of the classroom and spend one-on-one time with each applicant. For Grades 18, applicants spend a full day at our school, where they are accompanied by a student host and visit classrooms in their current grade level, giving both the applicant and our teachers the opportunity to get to know one another. Learning Assessments are given during the student's visit day. For Grades 45, Educational Records Bureau`s (ERB) is required. For Grades 68, results of the SSAT or ISEE must be submitted.
